I'm down to meet also. I only know 3 others in omaha. so that would be cool to get a meet together.. or a normal meeting on saturdays when the weather is nice.

I think the best I did was a 1:53.1, using JB4 map #5 with 91 octane. They didn't have their race gas in yet, they said they get it in around April 10th every year.
I also did some runs with map #0, and I ran around a 1:57. I was having some major heat-soak issues, and would only hit around 120 on the back straight. My Z had very similar aerodynamics, gearing, and weight, and would hit 124~ on the back straight...so I am assuming the one was only making around 340hp at the crank. It felt considerably slower than it does on the street. |

All Omaha 1ers, there is a BMW and Porsche meet in Lincoln tonight (April 30th). The location is at Sonic on 48th and Old Cheney and the will have 1/2 price food for everyone. There is usually a pretty good turn out with well over 15 BMW's, lots of ///M's! PM me and we can get in contact if you're interested.
Also, if you have connections in Lincoln and want to stay the night, there is an autocross out at the airport on Sunday morning. Check out SCCA's calendar here: http://www.nrscca.com/ Last edited by Skers 05; 04-30-2011 at 06:47 AM.. |
