Hey don't say ONLY a 118i convertible! Its still a great car no doubt about it!

And frankly with petrol prices where they're at you may be one of the sharpest people on here.

Definitely post pics when you get it and congrats! :w00t:

Oh yeah... Pics, please!!! Lots of 'em! Top up and especially top down. While you're at it, put a great-looking chic in the front passenger seat, and take that pic, too!... LOL.

Congrats!

Please post pics. I'd love to see. If we had 118i here, I would probably have bought it too. You're having a great car and for the price you paid for 118i there, you probably can buy 135i convertible with all the options that you want at US price.

Hey!

Good luck with the new car, can't wait to see the pics!

Saw a Sapphire black 1er convertible at my dealer last week and it was gorgeous!

Don't forget to show your face in the UK Forum!

If they had the 118 available here I would by it. Great gas mileage and I will never again be able to drive mine the way it was intended on regular roads again.

She will be in Black Sapphire with 17'' wheels and chrome trim.

I will be letting my mini cooper s convertible go so that will be sad, I just hope i've done the right thing. Hopefully no more rattles with the roof.

If anyone would like any pics posting on here please ask I know its only a 118i but it should still look cool wont it?

Sounds like I've ordered the same as you - mine arrives in July so, yes please, post as many pictures as you can!!

I'm sure you will love it. Congrats! It'll be an upgrade from the Mini, but I can see why you'd have mixed feelings about letting it go. It, too, is a great car...

Great car mate. My 120d cabrio 'should' be ready on Wednesday. Are those the standard EU seats? (Elektra or stg like that, isn't it?). How are they? I ordered the ones just above (Network) and I also didn't get the angel eyes (snif). It just gets too bloody expensive once you start adding up all the options! And it's funny how people are like: 'WAAAT you didn't get the XENONS??! ...as if they came for free!!
Again, amazing looking car!

Standard seats -Elektra looks ok, but when my wife got out half her jumper was stuck to it - so think it might attract fluff etc, thought I might have leather fitted when I have some more money!!

I must say I cant fault this car, Ok it would be nice to have a 135i but it would have cost a lot more, I am more than happy with my choice - road tax is only £120 a year also on a long run I can get 40mpg.

I got the car from Stratstone in Harrogate rather than my local dealer and they were really helpful, they also offered me the best price for my old car an didnt try to rip me off - I would recomend them to anyone.
