What are peoples' preferences on VIC number plates??

Standard size
Slimline
Euro Standard
Euro mini

Anyone got black background plates on Black Sapphire Metallic??

Front and back pics would be great!

I prefer the standard euro plates with the white background. Classy and understated.

But you can't go wrong with a slimline custom with black background, if you have a good combination in mind.

It may be just me but I don't see the point of getting the euro mini plates on a euro car? I have full size Euro plates on my 135i here in the West and I reckon they look mint.

I got a mini Euro for the front and Standard for the back with black background.

It might give you an idea of what the aesthetics of your choice would look like with the Victorian choices.

Mine has to be TAKA - XX. Want my next car to be TAKA - 1M or TAKA - M3... TAKA (R) 35 is not bad too!

If you want euro plate I will go what sparking red said. Mini front and standard back.

The black small plates should (hopefully) look smart on my AW 135

Do you know there is silver or gold on black. Or black letters on silver or black. For $100 more when u order new or $199 for an upgrade.

Ordered mine the other day kept getting hounded for having LEX25 on my bm as had them on my past lexus cars but settled for euro slimline blue with white background and black lettering 335 BMT a bit better than lex25 bmt stands for well bm short for bmw and t stands for turbo combos are getting harder now running out.

I know a few are not fans of putting a car's model number on a rego... although I figure it's not a bad idea considering you have to have the rego there anyway.

Found this one on ebay... only comes in standard size as it's a custom mix plate (ie letters-numbers-letters) and vicroads don't do these in slimline.

Sorry mate, didn't see you post.

There were about 20 different colour combos that could be had. Unsure of gold/silver on black. Mine was metallic white on black for 330 all up. I thought that was cheap for a small number of digits.
