Car landed August 8th....still in customs (NJ)

Any idea how long the New Jersey wait could be? Dealer said he emailed BMW to see what's up.

what did you order? for sure in customs or perhaps getting parts installed at the port?

no..parts are being installed by the dealer. dealer doesn't know what's up with the car either.

Hopefully they are faster than Canadian Customs. They held my car for over a month.

1.5 weeks - 1 month I've noticed...it depends on how many cars are in the VDC and how many people are on vacation. It also depends on which lineup your car ended up in...Ready to go line, European Delivery / Diplomat vehicles, or Damaged.

So if it was damaged it could be held before customs? Or does "En Route" also mean it could be at VDC?
