Vinyl Eyelids... SGM 135i

Just picked up my car last week and did a few mods over the weekend...

-Hardwired V1 <--- PITA but thanks for the writeups
-Golf Tee Mod
-Tinted Windows 3M 35%

and saw a thread here for eyelids and thought to myself "why not?" here are some pics for fun.. i got some vinyl that was very close to matching the SGM but alas it was a bit dark.. decided to go with black since there are many black highlights in the car. Let me know what you guys think..

Best rendition of the eyelids I've seen done. IMO.

I actually took some transparent film and traced the look I wanted by hand, cut out the vinyl and applied it myself. Didn't realize that I was ripping off someone else's design sorry if i offended anyone...

I wish the corners were clear on the lights. I think they lids would look much nicer with the Euro Spec lights.... anyone outside of the US want to trade with me?

I like the eyelids but please...SGM is Sparkling Graphite Metallic. SG is Space Gray.

Sorry about that OT but I expected to see SGM.

Anyway back to topic. Very nice design but can you take some pics from 10ish feet away straight onto the front fascia. I want to see how those fit the look of the front of the car.

I think they would work better matched to your body color.

Not bad. I was thinking it might look good in that opaque silverish color BMW uses on the new 2009 3series sedan?

btw your camera is horrid.
