Xenoflo HID Retrofit Kit
Hey I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their halogen lights to this HID retrofit kit. Is is as easy as they make it seem?? Are there issues with the bulb life? If I could change anything, I would have purchased the car with the upgraded headlights already installed.

retrofit kits are extremely easy to install. they do require you cut a small hole in the back of the headlight housing in order to allow for the wires to connect to the bulb. Many people will flame you for using a retrofit kit without projector housing. Without a projector lens, your headlight will potentially be blinding to other drivers
If you do a search, you can find the negatives of using a retrofit kit versus oem HID housing. The oem housings cost about $900 each, without ballast or bulbs. |

Don't forget it is also illegal.

good points here.
I guess I am wondering then if I can replace with the original factory xenon headlamps and housings. I would imagine if this is possible, that is would be more costly versus if I had originally ordered the car with this option |
