Let her know that my brother's Camry airbag didn't go off when there was a crash because of a design flaw.

I will never buy a car from Toyota.

If Toyota gets it wrong I'd be really worried about other manufacturers.

They did, but they won't admit it. Just like their stuck accelerator problem they didn't admit it until it became public.

*edit* they admitted the problem, but they won't admit it is their fault - basically the first contact has wiped out the airbag mechanism, ie airbag no more

I was driving my sister back home after a concert at 1am in my parent's V8 landcruiser which had just had a service of some kind.

Driving at 80-90kph on the gore hill freeway and went to slowdown to exit at an off ramp and.....NO BRAKES!!! So I pushed it to the floor and the brakes locked on and I skidded to a halt. Basically the brakes were either fully or nothing. Had to get it towed. It was lucky that this happened at 1am in the morning and not when there was more traffic otherwise I would have been a 2.5T missile... Apparently some 'technician' had 'forgot' to put a nut back on on one of the brake components...

Haha I did the same yesterday.
I took Mum out for a BBQ up Mt Tamborine (1M territory) somehow I managed to behave and keep things under control. Mind you it was bloody hard! On the way down I had a dork in a S13 giving me a bit of curry.

This never happens when I'm by myself ha
