1m style front bumper (e82 e88)
For those of you considering a 1m style bumper for your 135i (my e88) I would highly recommend the one offered by ECS. I couldn't find any reviews myself, but took a risk and ordered it.
http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E82-135...ems/ES2749221/ Fitment is excellent. No modifications were required. The website states it is designed for vehicles without headlight washer, but when it came the holes were precut and perfect (which I was happy about!). The shop I brought it to raved about the quality. Pictures to follow. |

I wonder if the fog lights reduce the air flow to the oil cooler? It's in the passenger side wheel well. I think this is why the 128i has fogs and 135i does not. Thoughts?

I've seen other posts where people were concerned about the oil cooler too. I haven't seen any negatives yet (still stock under the hood)

The bumper I'm pretty sure is the same from umnitza and ebay.. it's not actually fiberglass it's polypropylene and very flexible.. Because it's polypropylene most paint shops would actually charge less for the paint job. Around 275.. and the fog lights if you search e70 fog lights on ebay you'll find them..

He won't care untill his engine grenades or overheats. OP you need to ensure that plenty of air gets to the oil cooler.

Im not an engineer, but I'm not concerned about a fog light mounted in an open mesh grill in front of the oil cooler. The air flow it would inhibit would be minimal, in my opinion, and have seen no signs that are cause for concern yet. I suppose summer will be the real test. I'm not sure if this is the same one from ebay. I only know where I bought it. Last edited by Penono2; 02-03-2015 at 09:03 PM.. |
