You're right it is basically plastic however it is extremely durable and close to unbreakable which is what you want for a front lip. Some guys have run this lip to protect their kerscher carbon as well. |

Agree, it really is perfect especially if you can mount ducting to those openings.

Agree - Way to expensive for plastic although high quality and nice looking. I would spend the money on a Kerscher before this price. we def. need someone to make a simple slek style abs lip.. seems it would be as simple as having a machine shop cut a 1/4" - 1/2" piece of plastic to measurements of our front bumper. I might ask around see what i can find after i'm done fabricating my own fiberglass fog lights ( 1/8 done) !! |

I just purchased a lip from 'FMXOMAR' . I will get it installed hopefully within the month (pending cold weather) and let you all see how it looks.

As white_i35 stated, his is being shipped out tmrw to him and was kind enough to offer posting more pics to give you all a better idea of it installed. I no longer own a 135i so i wasnt able to get more mounted pictures.

I no longer have a 1 series anymore so the best i could do was go back to my friends dealership and hold the splitters up to the car with stands as best as i could. Obviously being bolted on some of the gaps you see in the pictures would be eliminated.
