It seems you have a good bit of the go fast goodies accounted for already. I know you're probably limited by sponsorship, but you may want to think about the Forge diverter valve.. seems to make the increased boost more reliable with less potential for vacuum problems.

I would also think about better breathing, and if you want to keep the stock look, you could possibly get a Helene cartridge type filter, that is dynoing @ 13hp increase over stock. It's about to be released, but I'm sure you guys could get a copy...

You're doing down pipes, so get O2 Sims at burgertuning.com, or you'll continually go into CE light mode, and will probably induce limp mode. I assume you're using DPs without cats...

If you need more info about the tires & wheels, that's my car with the 255's on it.

Are you using the AA Active Processor?

Oh! Most importantly.. left over parts can be sent to MA. PM for an address.

Burger hooked us up with the O2 sims. Thank sfor the intake lead, will talk to Blaine. Fitting up the front suspension tomorrow, then we will decide on final wheel/tire fitment in the front.

Yup - AA processor.

No leftovers - we may put it back to stock... (until Alex drives it tuned up and changes his mind - and won't sell it to me )

Doh! - I just purchased the BMC panel filter for the stock box - don't think it makes as much as 13hp.

.... i missed this thread for this long? gah.

Amazing project guys. The only thing i can think of is maybe a race gas tune?

Also removing the sunroof would probably lighten the car about 80-100 lbs. Then you can replace it with a sheet of carbon fiber and just seal it with adhesive. A temporary solution, you guys can go back later and replace the whole roof.

That's all i got.

Good Luck! I hope you guys hand it to the M3.

What exactly is the word on the M3 they're entering? Completely stock or will they be adding a few toys as well?

It has been my assumption that the M3 will be stock. BMW is using OLOA as a showcase for the M3 and to a lesser extent the One Series ( there was a 128 available at BeaveRun for people to take test drives). Hard to imagine that the factory would be willing to admit that their new supercar is not up to the task in bone stock form.

I may have missed it, but surely you guys will install the AA speed de-limiter unit? I mean, who knows, with the mods you have you might be able to break 150 mph on some of the tracks...

Nothing wrong with BMC filter at all! It's great from what I hear.

The 13hp jump I saw was on a tuned 335i car, that makes bigger gains when you give it more air then an unmodded car.

suspension DONE!!!!!

Just got word from the guys at BimmerWorld that the JZR suspension is installed!!! Apparently the car feels amazing. Very firm but not jarring for street use. Will post pictures asap of the entire process plus after pics with the wheels on..

Diffsonline has confirmed thru the installation of a test diff that the limited slip will work seamlessly without throwing codes etc. A few pieces are being sorted out but the One is on the verge of having a better diff than the new M3.

I can’t thank BimmerWorld enough for their incredible work over a VERY compressed schedule. This build would have been difficult for a known entity like an E36 or E46; but to do this kind of work on a new car in just a few weeks in nothing short of amazing.

I still need a 1Addicts decal to run on the car. Anybody know why I should email?

Alex

Did we not get a sponsership set up for the sticker? Seriously, I have bits and large sponsorships on cars and there is nothing better than having your sticker or car win. This will be written up in a noted magazine that we can save individually as a "car sponsor". Is there a part we at 1addicts can buy collectively? Maybe I'm alone on this.

Great job guys I will continue to follow an could not be more excited about this project.
