I saw Silver 135 near the Outlets in Cypress. Silver looks good with red interior!

It could be worse - you could be up in icy MI like me for 2 weeks without your 1. Getting some email quotes from the local DFW dealers on the BMW performance exhaust right now. 1200 was the price I believe from Plano installed - been a few weeks since I talked to them. Wonder if any will do it for a grand OTD.

Notice a lot of Houston area posters on this thread. Got a quick question for 2-cents from all of you...

Suppose you are driving through the Houston area via I-10 from the East (crossing from Louisiana) to the West, and you could schedule the driving for ANY time of day or night. What time of day - other than, say, 2:00 am, would give you the best chance of keeping out of bad traffic?

As an alternative... are there any routes you would recommend for by-passing Houston entirely, but still winding up on westbound I-10?

I'd say 10am if you are traveling east to west. The inbound traffic east of town should have died down by then and I-10 west of town should be relatively smooth sailing (barring any accidents).

Not sure if there is a good alternate route.

How many Texans do we have?

This thread is over a year old now, and every time I see it, I just have to wonder.....

Do you have enough Texans yet to screw in a lightbulb?

Thanks very much! Having limited experience going through Houston (but hearing many traffic-related horror stories) I had expected I-10 would be bumper-to-bumper all day long. Your reply was a good reality check!
