Thanks man! I wanted a different look than everything else you see. Ended up getting a really good deal on some breytons. So I ended up going that route. Gonna get some spacers to get the aggresive look back. Tried to upload pics but won't let me resize on my phone. Make sure to post up some pics when you get them installed.

255/35 on a 9.5" wide rim is too stretched to my liking on a stock suspension

Suprisingly it's not that stretched. I don't like the stretched look either and was pleasantly surprised when they looked pretty good. You can see in the rolling shot here,http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1084697 that the rears aren't stretched.

Depends on the tire too. I think it looks just fine paired with a 255 series tire that runs wide. Almost perfect.

255 is the proper size for an 18x9.5, running a 265 is just for more meat if you can fit it. Also different tires have different widths ie: PSS and Sumos etc

According to what I see in the photo, though, it looks like your rim still extends past your tire. I would be wary of curb rash with that set-up.

I definitely do stay away from curbs. The fronts are stretched way more than I'd like. They still have the Continentals on.

Very happy with them. I think they look pretty good with stock suspension.

Thanks man. A subtle drop would definitely complete the look. In time though.

Dunlop Direzza 255, too stretched I think it depends on the tire brand

Are those wheels 9.5 or 10 wide? Does vary a little bit from tire manufatures. Definitely does look a lot more stretched than the federals.

9.5 wide, I would never think that the discrepancy from tire manufacturer to manufacturer is that noticeable.

Could also be a little bit of an optical illusion with the dark wheels compared to shiny.

Haha. Yes it does. I meant it doesn't look as pronounced on the darker wheels.

Hey guys, just wanted to see what you guys though of this.

I bought these wheels
Front: 18x8.5 +35
Rear: 18x9.5 +40

I know you guys are running similar setups, I am lowered on ST coilovers, did a test fit and they seems to be poking out a good bit.. Did your guys wheels do they same and I'm just being really paranoid or do I have some crazy fender work to do to fit these?

Thanks for any advice!

That's going to be really tough. Probably super stretched tires and fender work with camber to get them to not rub. Specially since your lowered.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of... Thanks for the quick reply. Got some figuring out to do. I was going to run a 215/40 F and a 225/40 R tire. Just odd how much further these wheels stick out in comparison to the wheels posted above with the same specs..
