One more 2013 135i owner over here.
Manual, no navi, no glove compartment, quite a few 'invisible' mods... - instant classic. Long live E82! Isn't she a beauty? |

Sorry I missed this.
Like Bama said He and I have been running 135i VINS to keep track of 135is production numbers. Here are the links http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html http://bmwvin.com/ and my fav, that changed from unlimited search to 10 a day http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/ The hard part is figuring out what last 5 digit numbering sequence BMW is using |

I just didn't order it. Glove compartment comes with 'storage package' (not sure if in US it is like that) which also includes nets on the back of the seats and cup holders in the middle (maybe something else). Since I don't like like any kind of sounds other then engine/exhaust/music playing - everything needed is in a small duffle bag behind the front seat (water etc.). This way stuff is just most secure too and nothing flies around the cabin during spirited driving. I also take the bag with me when I go, leaving the interior completely clean (and having everything I need on me). The deciding factor however was that I just love how clean the front panel looks without anything on it with it's beautiful curves, functionality and elegance. At the end of the day, I find missing nothing from the storage package (even the seat nets which I've tried to get when ordered the car). E82 is just one sexy car, especially in person (and with a nice set of wheels) |

Bought the last 2013 135i coupe between Seattle and San Francisco last Weds! I've been shopping for cars for months. I looked at Porsche, Audi, and all the 3 series options. All nice cars, but at the end of the day I just wanted a little rocket with a back seat that I could scoot around in comfort. Love this car so much. Thrilled to have a chance to pickup a car that I'm sure will be regarded as very special for years to come.

I'm also wondering if IEDEI is willing to accept now that there is no 2014 1-series. =P
I also know what's coming in his response on the M235, but won't ruin the surprise. |

when my 135is lease ends, i will either (A) buy the 135is, (B) buy a 1M, or (C) see if there is an M2 available. The 135is is an amazing car....a nice send off for a stone-cold future classic in the E82 coupe..... Last edited by IEDEI; 01-31-2014 at 04:07 PM.. |

I prefer real steering and lighter weight as well as the old school looks of the 1er. |

I just want its sound system and gauges. That's about it. I'm in the same boat as you though. I'll drive one and check it out when I get my next oil change, but have no interest in getting it unless it somehow blows me away. So, at the end of my lease, I'll either buy mine out, perhaps get an M2 if they make it and don't make it a 4-cylinder, and while you're on the 1M, I might consider an M4 or cayman S. Maybe even F-type coupe. |

The E82 represented by 135i(s) and the 1M version truly brought back JOY to BMW.
A short wheelbase chassis with 300hp bumped to 390hp+ with a quick tune, pushed to the rear wheels and shifted by a great 6MT is pornography for every petrol head!!!!
