anyone running 265/35/18 front and 295/30/18 rear on stock 1M?
I just saw the Apex group buy and I'm thinking of EC-7 wheels 18x9.5 ET 22 FRONT and 18x10.5 ET 27 rear. I would run 265/35-18 and 295/30-18
Has anyone run this on stock 1M? Rubbing or other issues. I would like to autocross this setup with everything else stock? |

I run the the 265 up front and 285 rear on the apex 18s without any rubbing and I'm stock. I think I could go to 295 on the rear because there seems to be more room. I use the Hankook RS3 tires. I'm not sure what my ET are but if you need me to ck I can look tomorrow when I get back home. I got my set up from Harold at HP so he might be able to help you out.

I have R888 just now running 265 fronts and 295 rear with KW v3's with a pretty aggressive drop with no issues. I'm sure I could run 305's in the rear, still tons of room.

I got the same...22 front and 27 rear. I think I could go wider in the rear, but the front I think would rub on anything wider than 265.

Pics? I am running 275/35 front and 295/35 rear and rub when I am at full lock in reverse. Not a big deal.

295 in the rear will vary in fitment. Round shoulder tires will work fine where as squire shoulder will rub, but typically 295 is okay.

Running APEX PS-7 ET22 all around with Yoko AD08R 265/35/19 and 295/30/19.
I get a little rub when I'm on full lock, and rears slightly rub when hitting bumps. But that's probably because I need to adjust my camber/tire sidewalls being thick |

The 265/35/19 didn't work out. The tire was too close to the coil collar, and the tire rubbed the inner fender well, no matter the ride height. 3mm spacers were required just so I could drive home. If they made 265/30, I am positive it would have worked. I had to put 255/35/19 on. No spacer.
Keep in mind, different tires are different widths, even if they are the same size. These 255 RE-71-R are wider than the 255 Pilot Sports that came off. |

Will 265/35/ R19 front and 295/30 R19 back Toyo R888's fit stock wheels on lowered (20mm) stock suspension?
As far as i know, the R888's have quite round edges. |

I doubt it, I used 255/35/R19 last year on the front with the revised fender liners and there isn't much room to spare.
If you still have the original liners, there is no way. I had rubbing issues with 245/35/R19 on the original liners when I switched from the stock Michelins to slightly chunkier Bridgestone RE-11's a few years ago. That prompted my dealer to replace the liners, which was covered by warranty since my replacement tires were correctly sized.

I've run those tire sizes with Michelin Pilot Super Sports for the last couple of year in the One Lap of America and get only minor rubbing in the rear with the car fully laden during the transits when going over certain low frequency bumps.

Nacho,
Been running 265/30/19 and 295/30/19 now for 2 years on lowered H&R. Front left liner rub on full lock in parking lots and occasional rub on right rear with passengers at speed with heavy bumps. You will appreciate the extra "grip" of the rears especially if you are tuned my friend! Now contemplating spacers or adjustable to fix rear gap left to right as right rear seems to sit lower than left for some reason. Go for it! |
