manual transmission issues?

hey guys I have a 2008 135i with about 92k miles on the clock. Im noticing a slight ticking noise coming from what sounds like the transmission. When I press in the clutch the ticking noise stops, only when the clutch is NOT in do I hear the ticking noise. basically does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be before I drop it off at the dealer to have it looked at?

My guess is the flywheel. Every car I've owned with a dual mass flywheel has made some sort of weird ticking / clicking noise at one point or another.
