a coder told me once of a street light pull between a 330i and a 335i
330i had headers, Okada Projects coil packs, a tune, an lsd & maybe different gearing in the rear differential, and im sure some muffler that opened up the exhaust a bit The result was the 330i kept up until just before 4th gear

my modded 128i still gets walked by stock 135i's. if you want a straight line car/ a car to modify for raw power and speed, the 128i is not it.
You're better off trading in for a 135i.

You must not be driving right man. I have no problems lol and don't have a tune or headers! Look at my videos I jump on all of them from the start it's at the top of 3rd beginning of 4th where I start to get pulled. And these cars at on jb4 and Cobb tune.

Also, i suspect you walk them that long because they can't get all of their power to the ground initially. That the problem most 135i's have. Also, you have the driver mod. Can you say the same for the guys in the x35i's? ***for the record, 0 track experience, only experience is hooning on the street. Hoping to change that next year but i have literally no local tracks or autox gatherings(closest is 45 mins away in a sh!tty pothole filled lot)***

I'd suspect they have traction issues and also cannot put power to the ground as efficiently as your car.

supercharger?
Or 3 stage intake + headers + tune + shed weight wherever possible. If you' re talking about around turns, then wider stickier tires + camber plates and realignment. But a set up 135i with a tune is always going to be faster. Possibly on a tight autocross the weight advantage would be more significant than the power deficit. But everywhere else a properly set up 135i will be faster.

as mentioned above you can make it faster by adding mods (headers, Supercharger,etc...) that being said it will end up costing you more than just buying a 135/335.
And once a 135/335 adds a tune and DP you will have no chance anymore
