It's absolutely impossible to make the description now any clearer. At this point it's just sheer stupidity. I'll post some pics of my car's butt soon to try to figure out if there's an optical illusion going on or our cars are really that small.

So, as promised (threatened) earlier, here's a weird photo montage of my car the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I'd been forced to park it in an outside lot at work since I got the car, but have now been moved inside the parking garage of our skyscraper. It's taken some getting used to, scouting and scoping out the best spots to avoid people dinging me, trying to stay as far away from people as possible in a crowded lot, etc. so I took a few pictures to show others at work where I was parking and what ends up parking next to me since I usually get there when it's empty.

Anyways, I don't know why the pictures make my car look so tiny, it's weird. They are pointless, but somewhat lightly funny/interesting pictures of me parked inched over close to poles and chain link fences in corners trying to stay as far away from people as I can and yet each time it makes my car look so small compared to similarly sized cars (like the G37). Weird. Since I posted all those pics of guys making a strange pose while wearing BMW clothes, hopefully some random car pics will help with my penance.

lol. nice series. maybe you can publish a book about all your parking spots!!!!

OR you could publish a book with weird men in different BMW clothes? LOL

I love how compact the 1-series is.....for a modern car at least. BMWs have gotten so bloated these days....I think the 1 was the last of the smaller BMWs we will see for a whole until the miserable FWD cars hit

Yeah its funny how even the Prius looks enormous in comparison to the 1.

It will be a great companion book to my already published coffee table book of dogs taking craps and the funny looks on their faces as they sit there locked, faces frozen, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

I absolutely love the size of our cars and think they are just the perfect size and the most efficient-sized 4 seaters you can get. I don't imagine anyone has said, gee, I wish my 1 were 4 inches bigger (like the 2-series is). I miss the good ol' days when there was a plethora of small sports cars (MR2, Supra, 300ZX, RX-7, 3000GT, Prelude, etc. etc.).

I have to think it's some sort of optical illusion in part, because our cars aren't that much smaller than a prius or G37, but it sure looks that way in the pictures. May have something to do with the angle or that I'm pulled in further? Not sure.

I have a 2011 Prius and it does not dwarf my 1er as it appears in that photo. I saw that pic and thought it the IS look ridiculously small next to it, too. No idea why it looks that way. Maybe I'll try and snap a pic of mine next to each other and see how it looks. That would be funny.

Interesting. Well, some of it could be the color (you know, dark colors make you look thinner), and the Prius also has a tall slab-sided arse!

Love coming in here and seeing pictures of y'alls 135IS's! And you're right, the 1 series is the perfect size I believe. And technically our car is bloated too, it's bigger than the e46. Actually does anyone have photos of a 1er next to an e46? I always think my 135 is bigger than the e46 when driving next to one, but I've never seen comparison pictures.
