Bought an M3 on Wednesday, 135i will be sold.
Well I have been thinking about doing this for a while so last week I flew down to Sydney and bought a DCT M3 E92 with 5500km on it, it will be trucked up to Brisbane over Easter. It is bigger than the 135 and i hope it will be at least as good as the mighty 135i. The M3 looks brand new the fastidious owner even had mats on top of the BMW mats so he didn't mark them. I wanted to drive it back but I had to get back to work so I should have it early next week.
I have put the 135i on carsales and in the 1addicts for sale area, it has had over $9000 of BMW performance parts and tyres on it, suspension, performance steering wheel, performance exhaust; have only done 14800km, I have it listed at $72500. Here are a few pics of the 135. The M3 is space gray with a two tone tan and black interior.

Congrats on the new acquisition and welcome to club ///M !
I am thinking you might have put the 1 up for sale a bit too low... Mine sold with similar k's for $71k, depending on options of course you should get that sort of money. Unfortunately you will be inundated with ~$65k offers, so don't give it away. |

Thanks for the kind comments everybody, I will definitely post some pics and a driving report when I get the M3 home. I drove it from Sydney to the transport place near Bankstown on Wednesday about 1.5 hours (I went the long way) but was in heavy traffic 95% of the time. The engine note is a delight and in auto mode the DCT is as good as any conventional auto, haven't had a chance to really open it up. I did hit the M button and kick it and it dropped to 2nd gear at 80km/h about 7000rpm, probably not wise on Paramatta Rd at 10am in the morning

Bump for sale.
I've had the opportunity to see this car up close in person before and it really has been kept in immaculate condition. Don't miss out on this opportunity! |

I picked up The M3 yesterday, it's very enjoyable to drive. What it lacks in low end pick-up(compared to 135) it certainly makes up over 5000rpm. The DCT is unreal, you can drive around like grandpa or like a formula 1 driver with a wide range of settings in between. The 135 is hiding under a car cover in the back of the garage freshly groomed waiting for a new owner. I have had a couple of calls, mainly people asking stupid questions that you would not need to ask if you were remotely interested in a 135?? I was asked "What does it drive like?" How am I to answer a question like that! I am sure a seriously buyer is not far off giving me a call.

Well done on the M3!
Must be a great feeling I may be in the market for one soon, as I could be leaving the country (over to the USA) for a new job permanently. Exchange rate and pricing shows I could get a *new* M3 for a little more than I got my 125. M3 completely out of reach for me at the moment here in Aus, so please enjoy it!!!! |

Nice, be sure to post some pics of the new beast
That's frustrating but funny at the same time about the callers you've had. I'm sure a genuine buyer isn't too far away. |

Good luck with the sale, from my experience with carsales.com it may take a bit of time for the right buyer to turn up, but you can only sell your car once
Car looks great on carsales BTW |

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get the performance steering wheel in the 1er installed? I'm looking for one myself...
