Garage floor
Hey,
We are revamping the garage and are looking for advice on what flooring to use. We can't epoxy the floor because it was already painted before. Thinking about mats or tiles. Any one have advice on what to use? it would be appreciated.

The cheapest solution is to just powerwash it, let it dry completely, and then repaint it. You can get as fancy as you want with the painting. There are other surfaces you can put down, but they're expensive and not real easy to maintain.
If you really want to go crazy on it, you can have the floor ground-down and polished, adding color to it before it's sealed.

Couldn't you just buy some of those squares from Griots? Looks like it will run about $300 to $400 per car spot though. Why couldn't you just put down some HD vinyl over your painted floor?
