Readings from different dynos vary considerably. 400whp on one dynojet may be 380whp on another dynojet. That's why dynos should really be used for before and after comparisons. To be honest yuchi, i think the dyno you ran on may have been on the optimistic side. Maybe not though.

I'm surprised it took this long to see someone refute the numbers. The reality is I was baffled by the numbers myself, then I went to the dyno and had the operator adjust it to "UNCORRECTED" and the power was less than 5 whp and 10 wtg different. Uncorrected is a universal figure that does not read different from dyno to dyno. As much as I myself wanted to believe this little 135 couldnt make over 460 tq and 430 on my pump, I was proven wrong. The uncorrected dont lie

Wrong, dyno's will vary corrected or uncorrected. The same dyno will vary from temperature changes from morning till afternoon. not saying his bumbers arent right or wrong, but your info on dynos are incorrect.

Well the uncorrected is what the car is making without any other calibrations but yes it can read different. You're right on that. IF you use SAE it should not be more than 2 % different. The SAE is to give the power under "ideal" conditions with the provided standard values, and even in SAE the numbers were still high. If you are going to say SAE numbers dynojet to dynojet can be greater than 2% difference then that's incorrect. THe thing is the SAE can be way off given the environment on what it will do at the track, since conditions change. This dyno doesnt read that high actually, I've found the virtual dyno to read higher. Let's not turn this to a dyno discussion.

I have the exact same mod list, except I'll be using JB4 to run a meth kit as well.

Good choices and excellent numbers! Gives me something to look forward to on my 1M.

Very nice...definitely want to see your numbers. Cobb vs JB4 and 135i vs 1M

Garage List
now could you run this set up and throw a JB4 in just to control the one of BMS' Meth Kits and not have it interfere with any of the tuning aspects of the car?

Just use the gauge hi jacking, meth control, max cool, etc. ?

You could prob squeeze some more power and at the least give the motor the benefits of meth to ease the stress.
