Dynoed my 135i!
Guys,
Last weekend, I took my car to be measured on the dyno (Dynojet). The entire experience was fascinating, as I've never seen a car on a dyno before. I just wanted to get a baseline and I am quite happy with the numbers. Car Specs: BMW 135i Year: 2009 Transmission: 6MT Mods: Stock Miles: 3400 Last edited by ajvee; 03-29-2010 at 08:46 AM.. |

The n55 is the first turbocharged engine to have vanos. The n55 only came out a month or so ago |

If you guys notice, the AFRs are pretty lean down low (15+). I think it is pretty interesting that a stock car runs that lean. I would imagine for safety, they would run a little bit richer. Then again, I am just learning about this stuff, so a discussion on this would be great!

I would be more concerned with boost numbers than A/F. The car will do what BMW wants it to when stock. It's tough to get an accurate mixture reading with a sniffer behind cats. You need the wideband before them, so I wouldn't get too worked up with what they gave you. Did they take your boost readings?
