Update

Quick update! So, turns out that the guy buying 3002 tii's performance shocks flaked on him. That was good news for me as I jumped on the opportunity. I decided to pair them up with Dinan springs I bought from another forum member and I had it all installed last weekend.

The car feels great. Ride quality doesn't seem to have changed much which is great because I don't want a harsh ride but the car feels much better in the corners and overall much more stable at speed. Definitely much more confidence inspiring than before. What a great upgrade.

I also added the black BMW Performance grill about a month ago.

This is how she sits now.

Next up, I am trying to find an e9x M3 front sway bar

That's funny, you seem to be recreating the exact setup he had. Assuming that performance shocks + dinan springs is comparable to the performance shocks + performance springs, i think i noticed the difference most at high speed, where the car really feels so much more planted and seems to hunker down the faster you go, whereas before it felt a lil squirrely and easily upset at high speed by lil bumps and dips and stuff.

Anyone here seem to have below min coolant levels? I checked yesterday and it looked dry.

My car had the recall on the website but it never really had a recall to begin with. I went to my local dealer to get it done. They said my car wasn't included. They told me to ignore it. I checked and the "recall" is now gone from the BMW website.

I've had this bottle of puke sitting on my trunk for ages....and today I FINALLY found a use for it. Ran over some kind of dead animal....my tires are covered in necrotic tissue and blood....so sprayed the puke on it....to clean the guts off the rubber. It worked!

Pukepit Premium!

Yes this has happened to me several times to the point were I now have a gallon of stuff in the garage. The mechanics told me these engines are prone to drink the stuff like crazy. Between mine and my mothers car we have had to top off/fill several times. Don't forget to mix it 50/50 with distilled water.

I swear its a just a coincidence! The Dinan springs were just a good, affordable option that just so happened to be available at the time.

Hey guys!

Decided to finally make an account after lurking around here for about 5 months or so. Picked this up in Virginia back in April of this year, and have been in love ever since. New to the BMW scene and I'm fairly certain I won't be leaving anytime soon. Fairly certain I'm the only person in Delaware with an IS, but maybe you guys could debunk that for me. I've done what I think are some tasteful and mostly oem mods so far:

BMW black kidney grills
JB4 + FF E85 upgrade
Burgertuning N55 Intake
BMW rear sunshades
Escort 9500ix radar, mounted clean via sunroof DIY

Future upgrades hopefully over the winter will be a downpipe, blackline LCI's, set of PSS's, and BMW performance suspension. Hope you guys enjoy!

I also had the M3 front sway bar too haha. Only thing you're missing is the Dinan camber plates but in hindsight I wouldn't have done them UNLESS I was certain of running wide rubbers up front and tracking. If you stick to the 225/255 staggered setup no reason for plates. If you go 245 square or wider then look into plates.

I was at Palmer Motorsport the other week and it really favors low gears with good midrange torque. I couldn't help but wonder how beastly the 135is would've been with the DCT for quick 3rd n 2nd gear downshifts.

But points off for the fact that the gray covering the license plate does not appear to be a perfect match to the Mineral Gray!

It looks a little funky, but MG it is! It is actually a clone of the area of the bumper between the taillight and fender well.

And believe it or not, the 'orange' square in the middle of the dark side is actually the exact same color as the 'brown' square in the foreground! Our eyes play tricks on us!
