I am thinking black lines and tint
I got a Jet Black on Black with Alloy trim....i am pretty sure i will go with the black lines....just not sure about the tint though...I had a 05' IS 300 with 20% and it was pretty dark...the Lex was silver gray with black interior.....hard to see in reverse...
What would you guys recomend for tint |

I've got 35% rear, 50% front & blacklines on Jet Black...for me it's perfect...check "my garage" for pics

No need to do 20%. Just do legal tint. The black interior will make it look darker.
I'm getting Monaco with Black and that's what I plan on doing. |

I got 35% on my Monaco and it looks good, I can still see out of it with no problem, and it's dark enough that you can't see inside from farther away. I like it.

Blacklines seem to go for around 200-250 I've seen. And my car sits in the sun all day on the street in front of my house. We have had some hotter days with the inside of the car really hot and the idrive hasn't been hot nor has the shifter. But to really help it from getting hot just have the sunroof shade closed.

I have to admit that everytime I see a picture of a car with blacklines on a black car, it makes me feel that the car's proportions look more correct than with the OEM lamp housing. Kinda pancakes the car instead of making it look hunched.

Hooman, I don't recall if mine were tinted the last time you rode in my car, but I have 35% all around (not the windshield of course).

i just installed my black line tails (i also have jet black/black) and got some huper optik 40's on. i gotta say it looks perfect. with the black interior its plenty dark enough. its not too dark and not too light. looks very classy and with the huper optiks, its ceremic so heat rejection is as good as it gets. im getting my Zaino kit delivered today... so after i zaino my car ill post up some pics.
btw the black line tails...OMG on a black car its a night and day difference. pics dont do it much justice. the lines of the car flows perfectly with the balck lines. the hoffmeister (sp?) kink lines up with the black lines and the trunk. these should have been standard. |

I got the HP 30 on mine about a week ago. It seems a bit milky and/or reflective. Doesn't look as nice as I thought it would. I know it's great film, but not sure if I like it yet.

With the self-dimming mirrors, anything darker than 35% tint on the rear window would make it difficult to see behind, even with the sunshade down.
