white marks from buffer

Hi all question for you:

I used my porter cable for the first time last weekend.. just tested it out on the hood as I didnt have time to do the whole car. I used Menzerna 85rd. I noticed this am that there were several whitish marks that look like spots of dried polish. I could have sworn I buffed all the polish off with a mf towel when I was finished... but I guess there is a chance given poor lighting that I missed some spots.

I just tried wiping it off with a mf towel and they are not coming off easily. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you didnt let the polish break down enough before finishing buffing with the PC. make sure you use the top speed and it breaks down all the way and it should wipe off just fine. I have had a similar issue with 106FF and I had to re-polish.

Hit it with some quick detailer to soften it up and then wipe off- shouldn't be a problem.
