N55_ISO_14 Question

Purchased JB4 new recently and it had the FF wires.
I installed this firmware N55_ISO_14.

I never cut any diode or opened the JB4 unit. Can this be problematic? Is there a different firmware I should be using if I've never checked to see if the diode is cut?
