Hello Mathias. As we discussed via email correspondence this package was sent on 12/16/2011 and we are working with USPS to get this sorted asap.

Seems that the US postal office might not be the best shipper. ;-) Most stuff I have bought from the US has been delivered by UPS. They have always delivered. On the other hand it has been christmas times so maybe Santa stole them and put on his sleigh to pimp it a bit! ;-)

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask but why can't the standard chrome side and kidney grilles be sprayed gloss black? I'm in the UK and new to this stuff. Definately think the gloss black look better than chrome.

Yes you can spray them. I personally want a good job and I want to keep all original parts so I can restore the car to full original status. So don't want to destroy original parts like the side markers, wheels etc. Just my reasons.

I got my gloss black + superlight tint sides today, they arrived in 2 days from US to Chile (shipping was by TNT and not USPS) and I was able to clear them from the customs in less than a day, I already installed them thanks to DIY video of IND, it was piece of cake and I am no handy man at all. Overall, good quality, reliable service and really quick replies from Nate and others from IND even for such a small purchase. I am very impressed. Thanks.

Interesting Ozinaldo. As I know that the South American post can be interesting at times. (lived in Ecuador for 8 months)

Mine is probably gone then. Last info was in Chicago. No clue where they sent them. North Pole maybe? I hope to get new side markers ASAP. Getting a bit frustrating. Swedes are not the patient types. You know things should be on time. *laugh*

BTW. How many USD did you have to pay to clear them that quick? ;-)

First they told me that I should pay like 50 Dollars but then the guy that I authorized to pick them on behalf of me managed to get them for no cost at all; the customs made an exception and released them without charging but this is because I have a diplomatic status here and sometimes it works as an advantage. I had to pay the guy a 50 Dollars anyway for spending the day at the customs. But I guess I will be forced to pay a good deal for my Michelin PSS set, which arrived like 10 days ago (they released the tires but there will be an obligation to pay afterwards), let's see.

Chile, I don't even consider like Latin America, it is more German/European like than you could imagine. Only thing which is Latin for sure is the overall slowness in managing things.

50 USD is like half a month salary for a lot of people over there...

In Santiago it is a medium quality family lunch without an expensive wine In Equador you might be right about the minimum salary.

My rent is 1800-1900 USD (it is a 200 sq. m flat in a nice neighbourhood) depending on the exchange rate. Today I bought myself a t-shirt (orange color) which was in the sales (-%40) and it was 50 Dollars after the discount. Lunch for 2 in TGI Fridays was around 60 Dollars. And I pay to my cleaning lady around 600 Dollars a month, which is slightly over the minimum salary here; she comes every day but week-ends and holidays. You have a better idea now I guess

And Brazil is even more expensive than Chile nowadays. On the other hand, most other South American countries are cheaper. The 2008-9 crisis left the continent with over valued local currencies against the Dollar, that is the main reason. Plus, Chile is even joined the OECD, it is regarded as closer to a developed country and not a third world country since some time now.

I have the AW + Super light tinted LED's. I am kind of disappointed with the way they look though; the color of the side markers seems a little bit off and the difference is magnified because of the proximity to the body panels. See pics below.

I will probably end up buying another set in gloss black, which i should have done initially. What a waste of money..

Looks as if an incorrect paint code may have been used for that batch Have you contacted iND? They have been pretty good with their service.
