Selling a pair of brand new mirror covers to suit all pre LCI 1 series, purchased from Mars performance and never used (decided to paint mine gloss black instead).

Paid for this item months ago now and am yet to receive the mirror covers. Was told they were likely lost in the mail and that the user (Ted Zhang) was going to give me a full refund as he was going to follow up with AusPost. Now Ted is completely ignoring all my texts and calls. Has anyone dealt with him before or know him personally by any chance?

Get in touch with your police station and launch a fraud investigation

It will take some time but they will catch up with him

With every for sale thread there should be a phone number or at least contact the seller
and exchange personal details before giving them your money.

I'd be pretty reluctant to buy anything that's not cash on pickup. Unless its from an active trusted forum member

Same here - particularly wary of a guy with 4 post and for sale post during same month!

This scenario unfortunately would occur quite often on nissansilvia forums back in the day - not much can really be done sadly.

Oh man just noticed! The OP has a BMW 128i and located Sydney? Have a think about the different BMW 1 series models that were offered for sale in Australia...

Funnily enough I managed to get his number through mutual friends of mutual friends on Facebook! When I did get to speak to him he said that he had sent it, assuming without tracking of any sort. His Facebook profile shows that he has got a white 1er of some description. Lucky it was only a fairly small amount!

If you ever have to deal with someone called 'Ted Zhang' just be extra careful!

Whilst we're here, if anyone has to deal with someone named 'Kristian Di Domenico' from WA, be very, very cautious. He is extremely slimy and WILL scam you somehow.
