HELP ! with new wheel and tyre option

The set up I need advice on if it will work is:-

135i
OZ Ultra Leggeras
Front:- 18 x 8 ET40
Rear:- 18 x 9 ET40

Tyres:
Front:- 18/225 x 40
Rear:- 18/255 x 40

My suspension is Standard and I don't want any rubbing.

I have played on http://www.willtheyfit.com/ a really good tool and from my reconing I would nee an ET45 for front and back which would give 18mm closer to the wheel arch on the rear and 10mm nearer the wheel arch on the front. I went for these as I have heard that is the maximum wheel spacer size you can fit on a stock wheel.

ET40 is what an OZ supper has said will work but that would move the inside edge of my rear tyre out 23mm and my front tyre by 15mm and I recon that would rub. They didn't seem to listen to my concern and said it WILL fit OK with ET40

Somebody please let me know what I need to make this tyre and wheel set up fit.

Yearofthe1 has oz wheels with that offset and they do rub. I think he did a rear fender roll. You might want to pm for details.

Which offest did you mean rubbed as I mentioned a few

I am starting to thin only ET45 front and ET50 rear will work in 18" with 225 and 255 tyres, but I still have to find some light ones I like

I have 225/40x18 on 8" ET40 front on stock M-sport springs/camber. It did rub the inner plastic arch flange but this self cures over time (ie gets worn away to allow clearance)
255/35x18 on 9" ET40 will rub rear arch imho, ET45 would be safer, I'm currently running 235/40x18 on 9" ET42 and its close , doesn't rub but 255/35 might.
