WTT LS3 427 Swap 95 rx7 for 135
Hey guys, I currently have a 95 rx7 with a ls swap as my toy. I have listed the very extensive build below. The car is unbelievably fast and is a true blast to drive. I did not build the car and I have had the car for about 9 months. I picked it up in San Antonio and drove it back to SoCal with zero problems. The car is 20 years old and is far from perfect but it was built extremely well and has the performance category more than covered. The car has had approx 15k miles on it since the build. It has 130,xxx now. The best quarter mile was 10.79@134 in the with a 1.8 60' on street tires and no driver mod. It has also been 190.1 in the Texas mile on my first and only pass ever, also on street tires. This car will flat out eat a 600cc street bike and will hang with liter bikes. You can find a ton of videos of this car racing on youtube if you look. The build is as follows: Vin# JM1FD333XS0400348 Engine HKE built 427 ls3 New core ls3 aluminum block new ls1 oil pan setup Arp head and main studs PRC CNC ls3 heads double springs 650. Stainless intake valves Powerbond ls1 damper pulley Manual billet tensioner belt Custom ls1 harness with upgrades plugs for 42 lb injectors Hke custom comp cam Comp push rods 3/8 New gaskets with trays New water pump Melling high volume oil pump N motion double roller timing chain All new sensors Ls7 maf Wiseco 4.070 pistons 3cc Callies rods 6.125 Callies compstar crankshaft 24 reluctor Custom oil catch can Ported and matched ls3 intake manifold Cable ported 90MM throttle body New ls3 rockers Exhaust: Custom dual 3" exhaust with 4 dynomax mufflers JTR ceramic heat coated 1 7/8 long tube headers V bands New 02 sensors with rear deletes Exterior: 99 spec turn signals 99 spec front spoiler Feed shine skirts Shine Carbon fiber low spoiler 99 spec tail lights Car has been repainted and looks good. Little chips from driving but still great condition. 1 nice sized chip on the front passenger fender. Alimunum door handles Shine street rear diffuser 20% tint rear and 70% front New windshield 8k hid kit Wheels/Suspension: Blitz type 03s 17x8+45 front 17x10+45 rear Rebuilt powerdercoated front and rear calipers Hawk pads front and rear Stainless braided lines Front and rear Crossed drilled rotors front and rear Super pro bushings kit installed 28 bushings Powdercoated arms chrome Megan trailing arms Megan tie rod arms Megan track coilovers with upgraded rear springs New wheel bearings front and rear Rearend: Cobra irs 3.73 gears New clutch pack New seals installed Dss axles 700hp Samburg rear cradle Steeda solid bushings Dss aluminum driveshaft Powdercoated custom rear diff cover Interior: Mint suede r1 seats Carbon fiber dash kit New vent plastics Led lighting replaces dim factory ones Dual pillar dash Oil pressure/Water temp gauge on center dash, the stock counterparts dont work Suede shift boot Cobra knob Appradio3 double din head unit New JBL speakers all around Jdm efini steering wheel with carbon fiber center cover Interior is complete Battery relocated to rear bin New carpet and matts Transmission: 2001 T56 stage 2 from texas drivetrain LS7 Clutch Hurst shifter New slave cylinder Wilwood master cylinder Steel braided clutch line Steering and mounting: Samburg kit Bump steer tie rod ends New depowered rack feels real solid Super pro rack bushings Cooling/Fuel systems Almost new AC custom for ls swapped FD Samburg radiator v2 170% stat New ls1 water pump Corvette Fpr with braid fuel lines Walbro 255 in tank pump Ls3 42lbs injectors Fuel gauge on rail Issue/Problems AC has a leak In 110 degree weather and in traffic the car runs hot Paint is not perfect Cam is rather large Receipts for most things. Total cost to build 87k Ok, now the fun part-What do I want? I am looking to get back into the boost game. In my ideal world there is a white fully loaded low mile 600whp build 135i out there that someone would like to trade me. I have a general idea but im not uptight about what Id like to trade for, so please ask if you're interested. Depending on the car I get, there will be a lot or a little cash on your end coming my way. n54 preferred white in color but not necessary like the 135 but will consider 335 coupes as well Stock or modded. Prefer to trade but will sell. I know this is an oddball car for this forum and if it gets no attention it is ok. Price to buy is 40k. Why am I selling? This car is great and Im glad to keep it. That being said Im fickle and just want something new. I built a 720hp mustang 2 years ago and my wife is cool with me switching things up lol. Best way to contact me is text or email 661/703-5173 thekanezzi@gmail.com Videos from when I was figuring out my exhaust setup. The rx7 is great. I think it's iconic Japanese. Looks great, functional, thrilling to drive... I've always loved the 135. I miss having boost and miss the fun of building the car. I'd also like to be able to daily a car instead of my truck all the time so the 135 scratches that itch. |

Even if you don't get a beast like my car, the rx7 really is a great car and worth adding to the stable. 2011 is still an n54 right? |
