Today a Mechaniker put the new left rear wheel abs sensor on and it took about a cup of coffee's time. All systems are go.

No more christmas tree in MY E90

I just got my software updated (maybe has nothing to do with it) and now my ABS is acting funny as well. No warning lights though. We had some snow earlier today (enough to leave about 1cm on the ground) and my garage access is on a small dead-end street so it's not cleared.

Anyway, the temperature has dropped and it's starting to ice quite nicely. As I was rolling down the street I put on the brakes and the car slides without the typical ABS sounds or pulsating pedal. Hence, I can only steer when my foot is off the brake. It's almost like having a car without ABS. Does the system disengage itself at very low speed or something?

Just had this happen to my car on the way home from work tonight. The whole christmas tree of the AWD, DTC and ABS malfunction. This was followed by the flat tire monitor warning. Going to call the dealer in the morning.

Psuball10 -- this happened to me tonight as well. Did you take your to the dealer? Was it a faulty sensor like the others? Looks like I have a trip to the service department coming up!

Believe it or not i had the warning lights come on again this weekend. Almost 2 years to the day from the first time they came on. It is just a sensor that needs changed. It appears that it might have something to do with the sensor getting dirty. The first time it had come on it was very cold in my area and alot of salt, rock chips on the road. It has been the exact same conditions this year. Dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.
