BURNING RUBBER

So I turned off DTC by pressing the dash button. I then turned off the next feature which I think is the wheel spinning control by holding down the DTC button for 10 seconds. I rev to 4000 RPM, drop the clutch and the car attempts to spin the wheels but quickly prevents the sping from happening. Also feels as if the gas is cut or controlled. I am not sure why all of this still happens even after I turned those controls OFF. I just simply want to BURN RUBBER for longer than 1 second. Did I miss something in turning controls OFF? Can anyone help?

Hold the button down until both DSC and DTC are OFF (the triangle with the circle around it appears). Rev up to as high as you are comfortable. 4000 is fine but if you are having trouble spinning the wheels rev higher. Let the clutch out and you should spin the tires even in a 128. Remember this is a rear wheel drive car so it is much much harder to spin the tires than in a front wheel drive because the weight transfers to the back when you accelerate. It sounds like you are doing in correctly. If it doesn't work, wait for it to rain.

The DSC & DTC will turn off after about 3 -4 seconds of holding the button down. 10 seconds is too long.

Yes, DTC and DSC (the triangle with the circle around it appears) are OFF. maybe I need to REV higher then. I will try again..... thks J
