The average American tends to have what's called "penis envy", mine is bigger therofore it's better mentality. Always thinking with the nuts.

Small cars are practical, they cost less to fill up, pollute less, more aerodynamic, more responsive and easier to park. Don't really see the benefits of large SUV/trucks except that they carry more and if you don't live in rural Montana where the roads aren't paved it really doesn't matter.

I could only say that for a Canadian a big truck/SUV is a necessity. And winter tires. I get my 135i as a second car and will not drive it during winter months. I wanna see you leaving your garage on your small car at 6am after night snowfall and driving through 10" of the frozen snow-ice layer covering your driveway, he-he. So, I envy you folks who can afford to go "green" and have only one, small, fuel-efficient, limited-park-spot-worthy, non-polluting car! Should I condiser moving south, huh....

US is probably the only country in the world who gets the MPH speedo.

Sport Package Canada

I have been looking at the 135I since it hit show rooms. Very nice! I was speaking with sales rep and apparently if you order the sports package in Canada, you get sport seats, shadow line trim, M steering wheel and shift knob and also double spoke wheels. Does anyone know if you can get the sport package and not get the double spoke wheels. I like the standard five spoke wheels.

If you can't get BMW Canada to let you have the standard five spoke wheels, you might find someone who will swap with you. I notice that a lot of people seem to want the 261M wheels in the US. They aren't available there. Maybe you could try the Wheels & Tire forum here or the For Sale/Trade forum.

Thanks Take-Heed, Good idea. Now that I have been looking at these for a while now and thanks to all the great pictures provided on this forum, I think maybe the 261'Ms are growing on me. Tough decisions! I noticed you are in Toronto as well. If you don't mind me asking, where abouts are you sourcing your 1'er and what do you have ordered?

I ordered mine from Town + Country. They have been my dealer for nine years now and I have been happy with their service.

I have ordered a Montego Blue 135i with taupe leatherette, M Sports Package, Sunroof and Comfort Package. I am hoping for delivery about the end of May.
