Although I appreciate the tease, and no one is more appreciative of the esoteric than I, but....

Please MAN, give us your impressions. What is it like? A thousand questions fill my head, too many to type.

And the Coupe?... well the gauntlet is down. If anyone can Improve how you make small performance compact Coupes that dont actually contravene to the rules that it has to be like this and have enough space for... and give a distinct advantage of being individual. Whether that constitutes an unfair advantage to the competition is something I am afraid is down to your conscience.
Amen bro. Scott, you are preaching to your choir here.
What I'd like to know is when the press pack becomes available?
Will you debut the information here? Is there a delay?

I was ready to buy a GTI or a 328i Coupe. Then I came across this forum. I always wanted a 2002 TI BMW. I am ready to join you for European delivery. He is what I need from the car.

1. European reviews all state the 4 door ride is almost too harsh, especially with bigger wheels and tires. I so what the sports package for the seats. Will they fix this problem with the new rear suspension?

2. When will the 1 Coupe be available to NA. (or can I get one early by going to Europe?)

3. Reviews of this car should come out in the Euro press before or after the Frankfurt auto show?

4. I cannot wait. Thanks guys.

I know I'm in the minority but a 4-cyl version would have been a nice update to the 318is or (gasp) E30 M3. I have rented 1-series cars in Europe with the 4 and found them to be a lot of fun. I currently have a 03 Cooper S which has more usable power in traffic than my old 2000 M-Coupe.
