driver side tail is flickering and is not working, i understand there are lighting issues pertaining to our tails. i have tint on my tail lights, is the replacement of the tail light assembly going to replace my tail light lens as well? thanks

Just the seals and/or electrical components(depending on their condition).

I was just in the shop and they inspect the lens, sockets, and rubber gaskets on production date. in other words, the SR basically said "you may get an entire housing or you may only get parts. after we inspect i'll let you know"

turns out i only needed the rubber bushings that hold the sockets in place.

evidently there is a recall for this.

got both replaced yesterday, i did let me service advisor know prior i did have my reverse strips tinted, so if there were anyway possible to avoid replacing the lens as well, i would appreciate it. 2 hours later i had new brake fluid, a new micro-filter, scope done, and two new tail light assembly, overall pretty happy; now i can put my tune back in
