135i - 18s or 19s?

I am looking at getting some wheels for my 135, it's not going on the track, running standard suspension, what are the pros/cons of each?

If you have some pics with standard suspension on 19s I would really appreciate it.

Pro's of 19s
Looks good.
Can possibly fit wider rubber due to lower profile.
Lower profile can improve turn in response.

Con's of 19s
Reduced tyre profile leads to less bump absorption and thus harsher ride.
More expensive wheels and tyres.

Pro's and con's of smaller diameter wheels, whether 18 or 17s are just the opposite of what I listed above.

Look at price difference between the 2, going 19's will cost more and replacement tyres will be more expensive, ride will be harsher too.

The 19's do look good though, but so do the 18's but they are considerably cheaper.

19s you can fit bigger brakes. So, no real advantage unless you track the car apart from looks. You can get the same width tyre regardless of 18s or 19s unless you roll your fenders to fit wider tyres. Better turn in, but you can consider tyres with harder sidewall.

18s are lighter, the tyres are lighter, ie better unsprung weight. It is also cheaper.

and even then, 18" will fit 355mm, only 'need' the 19's if you want to go 380mm.

I've got a 355mm Stoptech BBK. I have a set of 18 and 19's. 18's is my track setup and 19 for the street. There is a noticeable difference in performance and handling for 18's but I prefer the look of 19's which is why I use them on the street. The 18's are better than the 19 in every way besides looks from my experience.
