Australian Custom Duty Tax
Hi all
Just need further clarification on import duties as long as you total declared value of good does not exceed $1000 AUD. I bought my parts from the overseas merchant: Coilovers €585 (Based on exchange rate of 1€ = 1.486 AUD) Brake lines €95 UPS wants me to pay import duties and taxes as my goods are in one parcel shipment But the coilovers is under one invoice number and the brake lines is under another number. Unless Australian Customs combine both invoices together which you can't I presume as both parts have separate invoice numbers. Please advice. |

What you need to do is have them shipped to different addresses - if its the same name and address you get stung.

Okay, thanks for the feedback guys, the tax is $ 267.87 AUD in total, which is not too hefty.
Cheers. Last edited by Eddie135; 04-09-2014 at 07:34 PM.. |
