you can check out a broadway show. Also, if you are into comedy clubs, there are a few good options. check out some museums, MOMA is my favorite. You can check out south street seaport, and they have the bodies exhibit going on still.

I would go for a walk from central park down fifth avenue, and cut over into times square.

for a relaxed night, I would recommend hitting this cali-mex bar called florencia 13. Awesome shrimp tacos and good drinks. It's down on sullivan street.

As far as pizza is concerned, I am not a huge fan of manhattan pizza. I would check out brooklyn or staten island. If you have time to check the outer boros, you can take a free ferry into staten island. During the 25 minute trip, you get a good view of the Statue of Liberty.

The NY Yankees minor leage team plays right outside the ferry. There is an awesome Italian resturaunt right outside the ferry terminal called Enoteca Maria. Fantastic food cooked by a different Italian grandma each night. They serve pizza too. http://www.enotecamaria.com/wp/

Again hitting the outerboros may be a bit much in a 4 day stay, unless you are planning on hauling ass the entire trip.

Depending on your budget, there are alot of good hotels. I would try to stay in a happening area, maybe meatpacking district. Alot of swanky boutique hotels with great bars and a good scene.

Why would you want to stay in hoboken or staten island?

I am from staten island, and would advise against that big time. If you stay at the Hilton, you are looking at 1.5 hours into midtown.

Hoboken is a cool town, if you are into the frat boy nightlife scene... again, I would never stay here.

I know Kim! The sushi restaurant across the street from Ryan's Daughter is a staple of mine and my wife's (Poke). Whenever we are waiting for our table we have a few drinks at RD. My buddy and I used to go there and throw darts.

I would have to agree. DO NOT stay in staten island unless you wanna be frustrated.

My cousins from the Netherlands stayed there a couple of years ago and they enjoyed it thoroughly. It's right in Times Sq so you're not far from Grand Central or the major subway junction so it's a very central location. You can also walk many places from there. Their only comment was that the room was small which is to be expected for the price and location.
