Premium sound or No Premium Sound

I decided that it wasn't that big of a difference to forego the premium sound so that I could get my car a month earlier...

However, I would like the opinion of everyone as to whether or not the Premium sound is worth the $1200 MSRP.

Search on Logic 7 - the comparison is very heavily discussed on this board. It is all based on your personal preferences, so no one on this board can tell you what is best for you. You absolutely have to compare them yourself.

I will say this though - Logic 7 is very impressive for a stock system.

The non premium sound system works just fine for me.

are you an audiophile? if not then no. for me it was very important and was one more reason to get the 330i.

it shouldn't be hard to visit your dealership and have your CA take you to two 3's, one with and one without. Bring a couple CDs and do your own test in the dealer's lot.

i got a loaner with prem. my car is without. I actually think my non-prem. is better. Little better clarity.

Wow, didn't think I'd see any knee jerk defense on that one being it was just my opinion and all, oh well. I always feel like I hear artifacts in the DSP systems.

Regardless, it's not worth $1200 for a 325 in my opinion. I'd use the dough to tint the windows and get a yakima rack.
