That's exactly what I'm going to do man. I figure I'll drive it for a year or two, and save save save, then put my order in for a brand new one, with what color and options I want. I'd rather do it right the first time than waste money jumping into something without a warranty and that could potentially have problems.

Best of luck with your decision bud.
Highly appreciate it Jim! Few mods in my mind just in case if I didn't satisfy with my N55 135i. Even though it's more expensive compared to other tuners, I will do Dinan Stage 2 tune that puts out 100 more lb ft and 50ish hp. Keeping a warranty is number one priority for me in any case! Thanks man

I never understand when people say "paying off"..
My car loan is at like 2.9% .. i could pay it off tomorrow if i wanted. I am making like 10-15% in the market and took part of that money into real estate. have zero desire and would actually take a financial hit to "pay off" the car.

Some people don't have the spare funds lying around to pay for a car in bulk.

Really?

I never financed any car, and unless you get at least 2.9% interest on your investment, it's also piece of mind and very satisfying not owing anything to any bank. So if I have the cash on hand, I would always purchase right out, I hate the thought of paying money for nothing. I was always thought that if you don't have the money, you can't afford it and had to save for it, obviously that strategy went out of the window with my first house purchase which took 15 Years to get get into the clear!

Cash on hand is ALWAYS more valuable than car wrapped up in a depreciating asset.

Bingo. Factory FI means there is a good bit of torque left on the table just waiting to be tuned back into it.

Full cash will always the best option when buying a car, lol. Not owing anything to the dealer nor the bank.

So you buy the car for full cash then have a return of approximately -10% each year until the car is essentially worthless. The loan option costs you ~3% but allows you to put the rest of your available cash into the market and actually earn you money. I simply can not see how full cash up front on a depreciating asset will save you money.

Except that there is no guarantee that you will make above 3%, even the best investor cannot assure that.

There is no guarantee you won't. If you have investments making more than the cost of your loan, it is silly to pay it off. You pay the car out of dividend if at all possible

You never know what will happen to the economy and there's always trade off between bad and good. After all I'm not eligible to do loan or financing , lol
