General 135i buying questions

I want to purchase a 135i. Logic tells me to wait at least 1 cycle year before buying any new product. Reason is that this allows the manufacturer to sort out technical issues. But variants of the 135i have been around outside of the US for some time.

Have anyone notice any issues with the US 135i? Primarily engine and drivetrain problems. If so, please share.

Also, anyone tried a detachable steering wheel with the 135i? If so, what brand, is welding required, and how do you bypass the SRS electronics?

Thanks.

The drivetrain/engine is so similar to the 335, I think people are calmed by that.

And the rest of it so similar to the 1 series hatch. So while I'd completly agree with you to never buy a new car in the first year of production. No-way does it apply here.

Sleep (and order) peacefully brother
