Got it today, loving it. And while I am certainly very capable of installing this part myself, it seems like some drilling is necessary to get this installed. It does not look like it uses the OEM points, am I correct in this, seeing as the directions are not in English

You actually can use the oem self taping screws for the side fins to screw into the inner lip of the rear bumper, that's wht I did and it ant coming off its a well made product ive taking my car to 130 a couple times since the install and put on close to 1500miles since and it's stil latched on just as tight as the first day don't go crazy with he ibstall took me about 10mins throw a pic up when you do!

Cool, what about the tabs that run along the top edge? Did you put the screws threw them like they show?

Honestly it's overkill with all those screws, bolting the side fins up make it more sturdy then the stock oem one. But it couldn't hurt to throw all the screws on it

Ah, that's what those pics are showing! I couldn't see the screw in the pic and wondered what they meant, however I did have a bunch of leftover screws and wondered how the top edge was fixed. I'd be very inclined to put some screws in those top tabs, as the tabs don't clip in at all, like the OEM diffuser.

I guess the tabs will need holes to be pilot drilled.

I got mine on Thursday but it's been raining in Boston and I don't have a garage. So hopefully today I get it installed.

I installed mine yesterday. Went real easy. I could not get a good pic due to the lighting. Will post one as soon as I get one.

Yeah, I had the same issue.

Now waiting for a replacement for the mesh section before I take more pics. I asked for an ABS piece to go in place of the mesh, as I'm not keen on mesh and could see the top of the muffler through it, as well as the red Rieger sticker on the inside of the diffuser.

I imagine it would be even worse with the BMWP diffuser, as it has a lot more mesh.

As I've been typing this, a package has just arrived from Rieger Tuning!

Shame it's hurling down with rain today Will get pics up ASAP - hopefully tomorrow if it stays dry long enough.

Will get some better pics up tomorrow hopefully, I've not seen it properly in the light myself, as I removed it whilst I was waiting for the new piece.

*Edit: And yes, I know I need darklines! Unfortunately, downpipes are further up my "need" list, so they're next to be done.

The tabs line up on top with out a problem you have to drill the side fins of the diffusor into the inner lip of the bumper it takes 10mins once you bolt the side fins in the thing isn't going anywhere

That's the best diffuser I've seen by miles. Pity the freight to Australia costs more than the diffuser.

So you HAVE to drill or is just makes it fit even more secure than with the bolts already

You should drill the side fins in then bolt them up it won't do damage to your bumper and if you go back to stock you won't see any holes
