Dan,

After thinking about it- I'll be getting the car serviced at the 15k intervals by the dealer at least one more time. I'd better wait on the drain plug because I just have a feeling it will get lost or dropped anyway.

Can I just subtract that from the above?

Does anyone happen to know the part number of just the oil filter kit? I'd rather use the Mobil1 0W40 as some people suggest. I can't seem to find the kit anywhere. My dealer is out of my way so if I could get it for the same price or cheaper online that would be easiest.

How much is an oil change kit for an '08 328i?
I'm not even sure how many quarts (it's for a friend). I used to buy my 135i oil change kits from you.
