That is SICK! It's like stock car tires on a German apex carver...

So that is the 275 square setup with Apex 18" 25 offset? How does it handle now?

Franklin warned me that that the MDM would activate more. TWS is a high speed track, and we put these on my third session. I had not driven on this track in the 1M... and while it is a former home track for me... I had not been to it in 3 years. It was my home track from 2001 to 2005 when i did about 6 events a year there. So.. with the 3 year hiatus.. and the fact that I was instructing and had passengers with me.. .. and still leaning the car.. I was not pushing too hard and used MDM all day Saturday.. I actually had better lap times with the stock tires... because MDM was flashing and activating a LOT more. That said... it did FEEL a lot better.. with less squeal of course.

I did pick up a set of wheels that belong to another friend (Ken O) that have 275/35/18 Hoosiers on D force wheels.. I will see if i can run them this weekend at a Eagles Canyon Raceway.. where I am a member. I updated the original posts in page 1 with photos.

Nope.. Ken O had Bruce bring his D force wheels for track to and from barber. part of why I towed was i could pick them up. Ken said they were all corded.. but after bruce put them in my truck Sunday they looked like they had a fair amount of tread. I sent Ken a text message saying that I had them and was going to use them up and he was like.. Fine.. doh! I would have put them on in place of yours had I known they looked as good as they do.

If Ken and I can't get together by this weekend.. I'll see if i can burn them off this weekend at ECR

265/35/19 will rub but will work if you don't mine replacing the liners at a later date.

With the appropriate offset, is there any chance of 275/30/19 fitting in the front? The 275/30/19 F & 305/30/19 R combo are pretty much dead-on stock diameters, and should help put this kind of power down: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=651949

my friend put the wheels on backward on one side of my car... The 19 x 10 stock rear wheel actually will fit the front with the stock 265/35 tire on it. It does rub however.. See photos in the fender liner thread... I got a similar rub.

Update on the tires.

The 265/35/19 don't rub in the front after about 30 runs.

Now at 50 runs. Tires have fallen off but I think they are going to make another 30 runs. STill lots of rubber.

I'll second that. ^^^

No rubbing issues at all with a 295 in the rear.

I was able to fit a 285/30/18 BFG R1 on the front this past weekend. I would say that it fits as well as or actually better than the 285/30/18 Hoosier. Rubbing on the inner fender liner at MAX turn which would be getting out of a parking space only. That inner panel still deflects easily.. I actually set the car down and drove arund the block and made some fairly sharp turns and circles and found no additonal rubbing.

Thanks, Mark.

The rubbing in front is probably tolerable, but it was worse in back.

Perhaps it's more of a problem on my car 'cause it's a bit lower...

I've posted elsewhere, that I run 315/30-19 Hoosier A6s in the rear and 265/35-19 in the front. I've run this set up since July 2012. The Forgestar wheels were built with an additional 6mm offsets (per SCCA Solo Rules) but are stock sizes (9x19 and 10x19).
