snow, cold, wierd noises and frozen nozzles...
Bitter cold in Iowa today. It was about 10 degrees for a high and the windshield spayers were frozen solid - didn't warm up and unfreeze even after an hour of driving. Also, I noticed yesterday the windshield wiper fluid ran out without warning (no warning light on a $40k German car?? ). Also, heater fan was making some funky noises too. Made me feel like the E90 should be a summer car.

I got the alarm bell ring, notice in center of dash & Nav screen. You need to get your car to dealer & find out what's up? |

Yup goto the dealer once you find a quirk that is repairable.

I got the washer fluid low warning as well. Funny thing was, I had been driving the car for over 2 hours and hadn't washed the windshield the entire trip when it decided to give me the warning. After that it was very consistent until I filled it up, but I have no idea why it suddenly figured out it was low after 2 hours of driving. I would have assumed it had to do with the fluid level sloshing around as I drove, but after 2 hours I had gone up and down several hills, around all kinds of turns. Oh well, it does work.

Maybe your heated nozzles are not working either...
Also, someone else posted about their fluid freezing because it didn't have the anti-freeze additive in it.

I've got a problem with freezing washer fluid nozzles also. My fluid was low when I brought my car in last and they filled it, I assume with anti-freeze washer fluid. We've had very cold weather in Chicago, but even after driving for 30 minutes or so, the wiper fluid is still not spraying out. I park in an unheated garage. Under the same conditions; unheated garage or outside, is it more common for the heated washer heads to be frozen or working properly?

I had the freezing problem but since the dealer changed the fluid, it worked fine even at -20 Celcius. I had not used all the fluid that came with the car when it was new and I think what they put in at the factory was not appropriate for the weather here. But now everything is fine...

My warning light just came on today for low washer fluid. Luckily I have about 4 gallons in the garage. Something to do this weekend!
