It depends on the heat of the exhaust! When it is cold they are similar! The CSL or the E46 M3 has the same problem!

Based on this then I suppose it's not a problem, let's call it a feature!

I took a flashlight under the car this evening to take a look at the exhaust tips. These tips seem to be crimped onto the bent pipes. It does not look like they are easily removable... unless they have to be tapped off?

I am not going to mess with it as there does not seem to be a really big deal.

Yes, mine has the right hand side sticking out further than the left (when cold).

Has anyone here had a chance to start the car in a brisk morning and witness whether you get the same amount of condensation/exhaust outflow on each side? Hoping that's the case vs. some of the 'quads' I have seen for a 135i application where you clearly get more exhaust gasses out of the driver's side. Thx

Exhaust and mods

I understand Steve Dinan will be receiving a 1M possibly in June and will be quick at doing his magic on the car. I have enjoyed his exhaust and Stage 2 ecu mod on my 2008 335i for the last three years and I am looking forward to the work he will doing for the exhaust and ecu on the 1M. I should have my 1M in the next 60 days and will be installing Dinan exhaust and ecu mods as fast as he comes out with them.
