-=EMS=- NEW AFE 135 Throttle Body Spacers

AFE Throttle Body Spacer

Special Promotion With any purchase of a AFe intake system you will get a throttle body spacer for only $25 !!

Silver Bullet throttle body spacers create turbulence in air flow at the point just prior entry into the engine. This turbulence helps the air/fuel charge burn completely.

Sweet. Do these really work?

I may be interested to know how well.

I'm guessing this may also increase MPG?.. Not that it matters to me.

Whp should be very minimal and very hard to spot on a Dyno due to the variables.

What do you mean by that? Throttle body spacers have been around for a long long time and are available for almost every tuner car this isnt the tornado

AFAIK, turbulence in the intake stream has the most value when mixing the air and fuel as it travels through the intake manifold - with a direct injection engine like the N54, the air doesn't mix with the fuel until the combustion chamber. The air probably gets all the turbulence it needs as it hits the head of the intake valves and changes direction - but that's just my 2 cents.

Have Fun,
Rick

you probably will never see a dyno on this becuase you wull be lucky to get 2whp out of it... like most underdrive pulley kits, people claim the car feels better, but you rarely get to see a dyno improv. base on just a crank pulley kit..unless its a supercharged car.

i was actually given this piece by a friend who i guess didnt want to install it. i personally think if you get it for free then why not. the only issue i got is reseting the check engine light after the install. ive taken the negative off the battery and checked if that would work, hasnt yet. and am just too lazy to take the car to bimmer cuz i aint trying to void the warranty and all. if anyone knows how to reset this please let me know. thx
