Had some free time, messed around with vinyl decals

Let me know what you think...

With AW everything goes, that color is just asking for mods like a blank canvas.

Looks perfect and great placement! I can see myself over indulging in something like this. Be careful not to over do it!

Thanks, you're right about not over doing it. I like the way the Moto GP Akrapovik safety car came out with the stripe from fender to fender but it was too much for my taste.

Really like the rocker decal.

Are these 3 individual color stripes, or one multi-color strip?

+1. On VO the red ///M color blends too much.

I was thinking about getting the sideskirt Motorsport stripes myself ($15 at eBay)... But I'll angle mine the opposite way.

I bought 3 rolls and had to carefully lay them side by side. It was a bit tricky but I think it came out pretty good.

I saw those on EBay too but had to go with my artistic side and design my own decals from scratch. Not bad for a weekend project , right?

I love it!
I'd stick with the hood stripes only.
It's terrifying enough to see that stock grill in your rear view mirror?

Yesterday I spotted a Mini Cooper with the decal shown in the picture below. I perfectly know that it's supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek decal, but personally I do not favor decals with commands/orders to other road users. The ///M stripes, on the other hand, are more neutral: no need to expressly command/order to move over - other road users get the message straightaway when you hang in their rear view mirror.

It looks good. Only suggestions I have are to line up the bottom section like other have mentioned and also a more straight cut at the top that is more inline with the roundel cross, then it would be perfect.

Nice.

You may also want to consider how the front end was handled on the H&R Springs 1M.

Thanks Metak, I'll take your advise and touch it up this weekend. I did notice it did not align right and the top line needed to line up better.

Being a sucker for M stripes on AW, I like that kept it subtle and have a nice balance between front, side and rear. And the additional black on the roof also goes well with M stripes

Any more shots from rear or rear side?
