1) how many yards am I going to need to do my interior
2) when I remove it, will my wood be ruined? 3) where is the best/most affordable place to buy it

1. i bought a section of 4'x1' and i still have a piece left over.
2. no. you might have to clean it with some gluegone but it should be damaged. 3. the cheapest place i found was... http://www.carbonfabricsource.com/sh...c-carbon-wrap/ it only took about two business days to get it. VERY happy with it. |

i read about the 3m dinoc stuff doesnt last well in direct sunlight. Such as would be seen with intererior or exterior trim on a vehicle. I dont think its a good choice to go DINOC if you want something that will last over 3 years.

I am on the fence to do this mod. I am also worried about how well it will last. But according to this - 3M's Di Noc has a 12 year indoor lifespan and 4 years outdoors. they also say it is Water resistant! So how will the stuff look atfter some years? I just got a good qoute to install this DiNoc on my 135i. 250 euros parts and labor. Hummm.... what should I do? http://www.carbonfibergear.com/direc...on-fiber-vinyl |

guys, i wouldn't use the 3m dinoc stuff for wrapping your interior trim, instead you should use the carbon fiber fabric that's also available. that's what i am using as well as many others, it'll be more durable than the vinyl wrap and more flexible. you can pick some up from PYSpeed here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=336500
