2009 135i Harman Kardon stock??

Just curious if in 09 the HK was a stock feature or an upgrade? Any reviews on it in 09, or has it changed? THANKS!!

I have an 09 and it is an upgrade. You'll be able to tell if the car has it by looking at the little tweeter speakers closest to the outside door mirrors. They would have a little Harmon Kardon badge if it has the upgrade.

Do you have separate tweeter speakers at the rear parcel shelf behind rear seats or they are all packed and hidden inside the two boxes which include midrange speakers as well?

Thanks.

Thanks man, can you rate how it sounds? I have the Logic 7 in my 335i and that was awesome, just lacking some bass. Is the HK comparable?

Looks like alot of the new 135is owners have the HK option, might want to have them chime in with their opinions.

I personally think the hk sounds incredible. I waited an extra month just to get it on my car. Well worth it.

Good to know, I wonder if it's the same in the 09's as 11's?
How's the base on it? the Logic 7 didn't have to much in the 335i.

I think mine is the "Base" model - it says Professional on the headunit, I have tweeters, and 8" subs under the seats - but I think that came standard. The sound was OK. I installed Focal speakers, Earthquake subs (direct replacement), and a JL amp - sounds much better. If you want a factory install and sound quality matters, I would get the HK.
