Head Gasket????
After cleaning without having started the engine. nothing in the oil filter: Water and oil temperature is good! No oil in water.... 135i ,23600 MILES |

I had same on my previous cars. Your gasket is fine. This is just condensate, during winter time, going short trips. You will see it will be ok in summer. Do longer trips and you will see it will disappear.

No, I don't think that is your Head Gasket. Looks just like normal water condensation on your oil filler cap. Just one more reason for more frequent oil changes IF you ask me.
Btw... how long was your oil left in there? How long do you drive your car/dailey? I bet you do a lot of short drives. This would account for the condensation on the oil filler cap. Dackel |

I did 15 miles today's driving fast. I have almost nothing on the cap.
the temperatures are very stable. oil: 230 °F maxi water: 205°F maxi exterior temperature: 37° F If it was a head gasket. Traces remain present in the hot oil cap? I await the receipt of my new oil to check the oil. |
